Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, debuts her video for her first solo single, “Whatever You Like,” featuring T.I. and produced by Polow Da Don. I must admit, I was expecting something a little different - or perhaps, maybe something more, especially because of those couple pictures that were released from the shoot. Overall, the video is simple and has a bathhouse-type theme. She looks excellent and her body is going off in the video.

I know I read into rhymes too much sometimes but the first verse of this track sounds like he’s describing Lil Wayne, “got shot got shook” Lil Wayne did get shot actually he shot himself, “got a job start rhyming came up with a hook” “got a chain and some tats came up with a look” but then again that could be anyone in the rap game plus T.I. and Wayne are cool. This is one of my favorite tracks on T.I. album.

"There's nobody in the industry now that can do what I do," he brags, then opens the tape with DJ Khaled's guest-laden "We Takin' Over"-- the first single from Miami-based disc jockey's forthcoming We the Best-- and y'know what? Wayne might have a point.

Produced not by Khaled but by Timbaland collaborator Danja Handz, the track's slinky beachfront beat makes even typical cars-and-cash bluster from Rick Ross and Fat Joe sound more than adequate. T.I. takes one for the team, namedropping city after city in a "Promiscuous" cadence to set up Akon's incessant "We takin' over/ One city at a time" hook. After daddy Birdman stunts, it's kid Weezy (as usual) who's the stunner: "I am the beast/ Feed me rappers or feed me beats," he begins, working himself into a feral frenzy of credit-card wordplay and Kindergarten Cop quotes. But it's Wayne's jazz-virtuoso expressiveness, even more than what he's expressing, that guarantees he lives up to his self-hype.

Guide Review - T.I. - "Big Things Poppin" (Grand Hustle)

While the "King of the South" won't disappoint fans, he doesn't cover much new ground here. He does, however, show a better command of multi-syllabic rhyme usage than his contemporaries.

He grabs your ear with the opening line: "Do it to the maximum/Take it while you askin' em/Don't listen to them suckas when they say you too irrational."

The production? Smoothest towards the end of the song as the subtle mid-tempo guitar riffs meld with the synth piano and bass bump.

It's Britney Bitch! After months of waiting the day is finally here; Britney Spear's official single has been released! The official first single off the still unknown titled album is "Gimme More," and it will be the first studio recording Brit Brit released since 2003. Beside "Gimme More," two more singles have been leaked, "Baby Boy," and "Cold As Fire." Overall, it is my belief that while this is a wonderful leap in the right direction, this is no killer comeback. "Baby Boy" was the first leaked single, and I say this in quotation marks, not only because I have too according to BC, but because the actual title name is still unknown. While their is no official confirmation, it would be foolish to name the song anything else. The track starts off with what can only be describe as her son, Sean Preston's, rusty old music box. Then comes the beat, followed by Brit.

"Baby Boy" can only be described as a ballad, and Britney really attempts to let loose. It seems evident that she has been attempting to write her own lyrics, mainly because the song is so utterly cheesy that it makes High School Musical look like a serious look into the life of high schoolers. The middle section of the song is by far the cheesiest aspect of the song.

Britney starts talking to who we can only guess is her ex-Kevin Federline (K-Fed). She seems disappointed, and almost passive aggressively angry. "Baby Boy" could have been wonderful. I really like the idea of a glimpse into the life of Britney, and I used to love her voice. Deep down I feel that the leaked version is not the final copy. If I were Britney, I would have my massive production team clean up the vocals and make them sound less stitched together. Ooh ,did I mention the last lines that go: "So why did you desert me, baby boy? I thought that you, you were the one. So if you preferred the other one, She won’t bring you the sun(son)"

"Cold As Fire" is yet another single, and my only beef is Britney's fake, perhaps digitally altered, high voice. I really like the beat, though.

"Gimme More," the official single, will def be big on Clear Channel owned stations. The song's first line is "It's Britney Bitch." When I heard that, my heart skipped a few beats. I was ecstatic. The song is really great, except for her voice. I really dislike Britney's voice when it is high and fake sounding. I feel that her production team decided to digitally transpose her voice to that registry. The song has a wonderful, club-like beat, that will surly make the teens go wild. I really like how the song flows. It leaves me wanting more. I am going to bet that "It's Britney Bitch" will be the main theme of the Brit comeback. If one goes to her Website they will find that they are able to make her say it as many times as you would like. I actually hope that It's Britney Bitch will be the name of the album. Oh, please God, let it be the title.

My overall impression of the start of the Britney comeback is that so far, Brit has made a great step toward a comeback. But I still don't think any of the songs so far are of super amazing caliber.

Wyclef Jean Taps Paul Simon, T.I. & More For New Album

Former Fugees member Wyclef Jean is giving fans another taste of his eclectic musical style with his forthcoming release The Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant.

The album, which features production from Jean and Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis, marks the Grammy-winning rapper/producer's first full-length project for Columbia Records since his last offering, Masquerade.

Released in 2002, Masquerade entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at number six.

For The Carnival II, Jean revealed that the release is "a continuation of (his 1997 Top 10 hit)'Gone Till November'."

"I focus a lot on the songwriting," Jean said of the album.

The first single from the album iis "The Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)," which features Akon, Lil' Wayne and Niia.

The record urrently sits at number three on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Other guests on The Carnival II include Paul Simon, who appears on the song "Fast Car", Mary J. Blige, T.I., Norah Jones, Serj Tankian (of System Of A Down)and Shakira, who worked with Jean on her 2006 single "Hips Don't Lie."

The Carnival II, the sequel to Jean's 1997 triple platinum solo debut album Wyclef Jean Presents The Carnival Featuring Refugee All-Stars" (aka The Carnival), is slated to hit stores this fall.

All of Timbaland's best r&b beats-- Ginuwine's "Pony", Destiny's Child's "Get on the Bus", various Aaliyah hits-- are based on his revolutionary decision to make slow jams 300 bpm, in the process creating songs that can turn a party into a dance encyclopedia, slow grinds next to jittery popping. With that foundation Timbaland can do anything he wants. "Cry Me A River" was the last song where he did all the right things: swelling synths, bubbling keys, Justin's Doug E. Fresh beatbox, Tim's own peculiar vocal adlibs buried twenty layers deep, etc. That it coincided perfectly with the teen dream breakup of all time was the kind of dumb luck that makes these songs timeless. Since then, Timbaland's had a bit of a relative slump ("Promiscuous Girl" aside), while Justin's been trying to grow a beard and canoodle with Cammy Cam.

They both return to form on "My Love", the answer to "Cry Me A River" in every way. Justin's come out victorious and in love in 2006, and packs his full nerd-lothario persona into his falsetto, practically weeping lyrics like, "What's the point of waiting anymore?/ 'Cuz girl I've never been more sure [That baby it's you]." When it comes to gruesomely awesome displays of emotion for famous girls, Justin Timberlake is Shakespeare, and this, I guess, is how he proposes to Ms. Diaz.

But "My Love" ain't shit without the absolute mania of this beat. We've all been dying for the return of the weird science fiction of Timbaland, and he brings it all back: massive transformer synth, rumbling bass hits, that damn JT clickity-shushing beatbox, an operatic wailer over the chorus, and what sounds like a Tourettic Porky Pig spitting percussion. Of course, it's not Tim if he's not mumbling something vaguely sexy the whole time, so that's here, as well. And, as if he knew his own woeful raps wouldn't cut it this time, Tim brings in T.I. for some Cyrano shit. The verse is boilerplate guest spot, "stand-up guy" and whatnot, but it's the ideal chillaxing of Timberlake's pussywhipped whimpering.

It's not perfect-- misery is always better than bliss-- but it's as good as these two get.
