I like this song, it has a dirty south pimp playa feel to it. I don’t have any idea who the first rapper is on the track, but his verse is comical (I don’t know if that was intentional though).

Twista “Love Rehab Ft.R. Kelly” Rapidshare Mp3

Twista collaborated with R. Kelly for a sweet little song called “Love Rehab”. There’s no denying that these two have great chemistry when they team up and this song is another hot one. I haven’t really been feeling Twista’s new joints, but this is more my speed. I like the lyrics and R. Kelly sounds great…Twista softens up his playa/semi thug rhetoric for this track so I’m digging it.

He feels sick about this rap game:The suits over at Interscope just milk him and Em and would like hang them to dry once they feel done with them.The lable never really gets behind 50's third album.They already digged up a huge bucket of gold from 5o's first two album, now they would rather find some new cows to milk than put the bet on the old artists cause they see everything has a sell-by date.Signing Soulja Boy is already interscope's move to rotate their repertoire.

What 50 Means in "Smile (I’m Leaving)"

He's talking to Em about Jimmy Iovine and Interscope as well as Dre. Go reread the lyrics with Dre calling Em telling him that 50 need to chill and 50 sayin hes being pimped. A Billion? Interscope/Aftermath sure did.. and he's 1. pointing out to Em how much they have in common, like they family and shit. 2. That Interscope/Dre talk shit about Em when he's not around and 3. Trying to tell him Em he's being pimped out and is a pawn just like 50 is. he was talking to his fans, the ones that turned on him since Grodt came out. He's been saying that type of shit a lot lately, like in the beginning of "Hands Up", he says "If I'm gone will you miss me". and to that other part he was talking about Jimmy Iovine and Interscope talking shit on Em when he's not around, "Em made that company (singular) over a billion dollars". The whole track is talking to Em. This has been brewing for awhile. I've been saying it, others have been saying it, even Illseed is hearing about it. He's putting Marshall in the middle.. Its been going on for awhile now, and everybody myself included are waiting to see what Marshall does next. Once he gives the OK though, believe me half of Detroit is ready to go at 50. I know that because I've seen it with my own eyes..

Hi-Tack "Let's Dance" Rapidshare Music Video

Of course, if you're worried your own songs might be rubbish, you could always re-jig someone else's. It's worked a treat for Eric Prydz, and it seems to be working nicely for Hi-Tack as well.
Surprisingly, they've decided against updating Chris Rea's Number 12 smash from 1987 (wonder why?).

No, instead they've decided to take on some bloke called David Bowie or something, I dunno, he'll never get anywhere with a daft name like that. Apparently he had a hit with a song called Let's Dance back in the early 80s, but surely if it was that good it'd be on every 1980s compilation going, wouldn't it?

Sarcasm aside, let's be honest, if you're going to cover any Bowie song released after Ashes To Ashes, the chances are very high that it'd be Let's Dance, mainly because it is such a good song and partly because... well, can you name any others? Rather handily, Hi-Tack have worked this out too, and they've kept the song almost completely intact.

Yeah, they've beefed it up a bit and given it go-faster stripes and stuff, but the tune's still there and so are most of the vocals. In fact, there's so much Bowie on this song that if you ask me this probably should've been listed as a David Bowie remix.

Doesn't matter in the end though, the song's good and that's what really counts.

Jimmy Eat World "Big Casino" Rapidshare Music Video

Was three years too long to wait for a new Jimmy Eat World LP? Or too little? Tough to say on the little we've heard from it, but the J.E.W. crew have been a busy-touring bunch of late, hitting far away lands in prep for the launch of Chase This Light, out this fall on Interscope. Butch Vig is on production, and he says the record is "quite eclectic. There are three or four songs that sound like classic Jimmy Eat World, with angular, razor-sharp guitars. There are a couple that are a lot more dreamy, and some that are very groove-acious." Guess the first single, "Big Casino," falls somewhere between those razor-sharp guitars and groove-aciousness. Though Butch needed to throw radio pop-rock-y in there. You can listen to some of the track at MySpace. (And apparently JIm's currently listening to Kala).

Yeah, pretty shitty how it turns into a weird commercial for the record half way through. To console yourself, remember the good times...
